Springtime brings new life.

I was invited to lead a discussion 2 weeks ago on the importance of an effective website and my suggestions on the “best bang for your buck” interactive features.  As I was talking to the group and people were asking me questions, I became a little embarassed just thinking about this site and how neglected it was.  Here I was advising business owners on how to effectively use a website and why it is important to keep up with your site, when my own site was in disrepair.  I know it is almost an acceptable standard for a mechanic to drive a broken down car, a carpenter to live in a half finished house, but I don’t want to be a hypocrite.

So I am going to start drinking my own Kool-Aid.  I am going to start analyzing my SEO ranking, updating my blog, adding portfolio pieces and email marketing.    If you are reading this, I want to thank you for visiting and ask you to hold me accountable.  If you notice the site is getting dated, or I haven’t posted anything lately, shoot me an email and kick me in the butt. I might complain, but I will owe you a big THANK YOU!
